Happy Wednesday to you!  How is everyone's week going?  Today, I wanted to represent the style bloggers out there who do photo shoots in the streets, crossing busy sidewalks, along the sides of buildings, in front of beautiful doors, fences, etc.  I'm still new to blogging, so I'd like to find out a little more about you...

What do you like most about style blogs?
Do you blog full-time or part-time? or not at all?
What kinds of things do you juggle in your day?
What do you think is the hardest part about blogging?
What do you enjoy most about blogging?

I wanted to go for a more casual look today.  These jeans by Free People are the best of both worlds because you can literally pull them on, look great and still eat!  They are very comfortable and have the cutest kick flare to the legs.  I hemmed mine because I am a shorty, but they come in different lengths as well.  This is an older tunic top that I got at Kohl's from Vera Wang, but I love it and still wear it a lot because it is so comfortable and stylish.  I always get a ton of compliments when I wear it too.  Lastly, this python embossed olive leather clutch from Zac Posen is my most recent love.  It was one of those pieces that called out to me.  It is made of high-quality materials and has a slinky gold chain inside for a shoulder strap if you'd like to wear it hands-free for a better shopping experience lol.  You can find several Zac Posen versions of this exact purse in different colors and materials with the same distinctive design at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Shopstyle, 6pm.com and Lyst.com.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this post.  I always like hearing from you!  Please leave your responses in the comments below.  Thank You!

Hope you have a Stylish and Joyful Week:)

XO Joanna

  10. You ALWAYS have such stunning backgrounds! I can't believe you're so new to blogging- I think you're incredible!!
    To answer your questions...
I love learning about other girls throughout the world and seeing what fashion style they bring to the table. I blog part time and every day is kind of different for me. Sometimes I fall behind with the social media aspects of blogging and get "sick of myself" a little. XOXOX

    1. Awww thank you Lauren:) It takes a lot of time to find the right ones. I am obsessed with backgrounds. I agree with you about learning how other women's styles are around the globe. I find that fascinating also. I know what you mean about falling behind on social media. It's hard to balance everything. Thank you for answering my questions. It helps!

  11. I love this top on you and this backdrop is so perfect for this outfit! I want to try to look for some cool backdrops with bold colours for my shoots. You did such an amazing job!! I really like all the amazing people I've met so far, including yourself from blogging!<3. I blog part-time and every day is quite different for me at my job outside of blogging. I think the hardest part about blogging is how many hours can be spent on it without even realizing it. I really have a whole new appreciation for bloggers.

    1. Thank you Elizabeth! It takes a lot of driving around to find the perfect setting, but it is totally worth it in the end. I am so glad we met too! There are so many nice bloggers in the world. That makes me so happy:) Thank you for answering my questions. It seems that we could all use a bit more time since blogging is so time consuming. Hope you have a great weekend!

  13. During summer I blog full time just like now but if I have classes I only have the weekends to blog. I love seeing so many style inspirations in blogging and I guess as a fashion blogger I still have to be inspired by other fashion bloggers to improve my style. :) I love your top here. It looks nice in a casual outfit like this and at the same time in the next summer outfits coming :)

Win any top of your choice from Banggood on my blog!

  18. Great pictures, you really look stylish!! You're lucky to have someone who takes your pictures :) - I have to do it with mirrors, so there never is a really natural pose, always one arm in a strange position......and it takes more time too
In the winter months when I didn't have a lot to do I managed three posts a week with the help of half of my night sleep - now I have much work and simply don't manage, which makes me sorry. So I intend to make an average of one post per week as soon as I have managed to write all the comments I still owe to my blogger friends.
Hope you will manage your intended program regularly, because I think posting constantly is more important than posting very much - it's difficult to gain followers, but easy to loose them...

So good luck!!! - and so many thanks for your nice comment, I really appreciate it!!!

    :)

  19. Blogging can be difficult to do as it can take up so much time. I only have time to blog once a week as that is all the time I have but when I blog I make sure it is something that I am proud of. Blogging should be fun and a good way to express yourself! I love your tunic top here! It may be older but it still looks amazing and it is so unique! I love the high low hem!

    1. Thank you for the feedback Rebecca. In regards to the amount of time it takes, I am trying to find a balance too! So far, it has been a wonderful way to express my creative side and that is what it so enjoyable about it. I really love your style and can tell that you invest a ton of time and effort into what you post. I appreciate that as a reader. I always look forward to your posts!

  20. Love your tunic dear and those pants are the BOMB.
Taking pictures in public is really weird, cos people just stare but you got to do what you got to do. If you don't have a job or school, you can make it full time but it's good to know your schedule and work with it.
I love to read style blogs cos it shows different unique styles and it's a source for inspiration. I'm on my industrial training now so I work 8-4 and I also have my books so it's a lot...but it's possible.
The hardest part would be, making time and also getting a photographer.
I love the feedback, the fact that someone appreciates your effort is amazing.
Just stay true to yourself and it would be great.

  22. You look super chic! Those pants look so great on you. I'm a slightly new-ish part-time blogger (I've been blogging since I 2009, actually, but have only recently started taking it seriously). I think the most enjoyable part of blogging would be meeting new people and receiving a lot of support from the community. I'm a socially-crippled person in real life (lol) so it's really hard meeting people and I find that I express myself much more eloquently in words and pixels, so that's a defo plus point! I'm a college student so I juggle blogging and the usual studying, but also reading and practicing the violin (I'm a violinist!) I hope this has helped!

    Have an awesome week!

    1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this May! It's good to know there is so much support out there in the blogging community. That is so great that you play the violin! I love the violin, but I can't play it. Maybe we can hear you play it on your blog sometime. That would be nice. Thank you for visiting!
