Winter is visiting California for a bit, so I thought I'd get a chance to finally break out these suede Coach boots and fur trimmed wrap sweater to cozy up in.  During this time of year, cherry blossom trees still bloom with beautiful pink flowers at the end of delicate tree branches...so pretty!  Personally, I think the key to looking stylish in the winter is to wear boots with heels.  Chunkier heels are more comfortable, but I think any boots with heels are cute.  I also like faux fur.  In fact, I like faux fur so much that I had a white faux fur rug made for my bedroom (which feels amazing on bare feet).  This sweater wrap is one of my favorites to wear out because it is so versatile ( I also have it in black because I couldn't make up my mind lol).  You can wear it casual or dressy because of the tailored fit and fur accent collar. Also, these stretchy skinny pants by Shinestar are extremely comfortable and well-made.  By the way, I met one of the owners shopping a sample sale in Los Angeles and he was super sweet.  Meeting him and seeing how nice he was, made me want to keep buying the Shinestar brand.  Besides, these are really quality pants, reasonably priced, and I always get compliments when I wear them.  So, there you go...those are my tips on how to be comfy and cute in the winter.

Hope you have a great week ahead of you and remember to find something that brings you joy!

Happy Wednesday to you!  Hope everyone's week is going well.  I am still recovering from a cold that took me down for a couple of days and is still lingering for two weeks now.  Haven't posted as much because of it :(  Also, my credit card got stolen last week.  So, not having the greatest time lately.  Even still, I am trying to focus on the positive.  My life has been very stressful over the past few years, but starting this blog has helped me with that stress immensely.  Does blogging relax you?  I didn't expect blogging to relax me as much as it did, but it does.  Has anyone else had this experience?

Today, I am wearing blue and red with a touch of white with my favorite belt from St. John Knits.  Dressing up, putting on make-up and lipstick even when I am not feeling my best, really helps get me through the day.  I give presentations a lot for work, so I always have to make sure I dress up for the office a little bit more on a daily-basis.  At the moment, I am looking for more cute but comfortable work heels for the office, does anyone have any recommendations?

Wishing you a Well Wednesday!

XO Joanna

Work It Wear Wednesdays- In the Jungle

This is a fun but professional outfit for work.  I usually like to wear printed skirts with colors that match my cardigan sweaters because it makes it easier to have a more uniform look.  I really like different shades of brown, but especially this one.  It is a toffee like color and it matches the skirt.  I feel I really lucked out finding this cardigan in this specific color at Marshalls because it is a rare version of brown I don't see often when shopping.  White seemed like it would brighten up the whole outfit, so I picked out this darling ruffly white top to put on underneath.  Then, I added this white and gold belt to pull this whole outfit together.  I love this belt!  It is probably my most beloved and most used accessory.  It seems to work with mostly everything and adds that instant luxe factor to simple outfits.

It's a Jungle out there....How do you handle work related stress?

Sometimes our daily lives in the office or out at our work sites can be fast-paced and stressful.

According to the American Psychological Association more than one-third of working Americans reported experiencing chronic work stress.

Here Are Some Tips to Manage Stress:

1.      If you don't exercise already, take a walk during your lunch, go to the gym, take a yoga class or meditate.
2.      When you experience stressful situations, take deep breaths slowly in and out like you are sipping through a straw.
3.      After work, do things that are non-related work activities.
4.      Take your vacation time to relax and recharge!

If you are interested in reading about more ways to relieve stress, you can read this article: http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/work-stress.aspx

Hope this helped and hope you are having a Wonderful Week in the Jungle!
