Happy Wednesday to you!  Hope everyone's week is going well.  I am still recovering from a cold that took me down for a couple of days and is still lingering for two weeks now.  Haven't posted as much because of it :(  Also, my credit card got stolen last week.  So, not having the greatest time lately.  Even still, I am trying to focus on the positive.  My life has been very stressful over the past few years, but starting this blog has helped me with that stress immensely.  Does blogging relax you?  I didn't expect blogging to relax me as much as it did, but it does.  Has anyone else had this experience?  

Today, I am wearing blue and red with a touch of white with my favorite belt from St. John Knits.  Dressing up, putting on make-up and lipstick even when I am not feeling my best, really helps get me through the day.  I give presentations a lot for work, so I always have to make sure I dress up for the office a little bit more on a daily-basis.  At the moment, I am looking for more cute but comfortable work heels for the office, does anyone have any recommendations?

    I hope you're feeling better! I just started drinking apple cider vinegar because I read it helps clear your skin. It's still early but I think it's helping! I love your outfit too. You always look so put together. Your red heels are perfect. :)

      Thank you Carissa! I always thought you had great skin. Let me know what it does for your skin. Maybe you can write a post on it for me. I just use it when I'm sick mostly, but I hear there are other good uses for it.

    Oh no feel better, Joanna! And I'm so sorry to hear about the rough time you are having. Getting your credit card stolen is such a stressful situation. However, I hope your week is looking up now!

    I also completely understand what you mean about blogging relaxing you. I've found it to be such a nice escape and an opportunity to be creative and shutout everything else that 's happening in life for a little while.     You look so lovely in these classic pieces. Reminds me of a nautical theme too. I hope you start feeling better soon! When I have a cold, tea, lemon juice, and honey are my go-tos. Getting rest and drinking as many liquids as I can, mostly water and orange juice.
    I also hope everything with your credit card works out! I would be so stressed out from that.

    I totally understand on all accounts! I always dress up with I'm having health problems because I don't want to "feel sick" and after some stressful times, blogging has been an unexpected bright spot. Hope things get better for you!

    Your credit card got stolen! What the heck!! That's awful. Hopefully you got that all cleared up. That can be super stressful. I totally find that blogging also relaxes me and it's glad to hear that it does the same for you. I find that it helps me escape from my chaotic work environment.Oh and I love the red skirt on you and the way you pieced this outfit together. I usually find a lot of my work shoes at Aldo!

    those kitten heels are adorable...I love kitten heels, they are a healthy option (for our legs) and they are just as feminine and stylish as those sky high heels.
