Hello!  How is your week going?  Today, I wanted to talk about finding peace in our daily lives, so I put together this outfit with soft cream tones. Then, I added some definition with this silver cream lace shawl and a mother of pearl pastel pink statement necklace.  I wanted to keep my shoes neutral so the lace details and necklace could be the focal point. I cut this piece of lace and tied it up into a shawl.  What do you think?

Vacations are over, classes are back in session, and the hustle and bustle of daily life has started to kick back into high gear.  

For some of us, we never stop working and texting and bury ourselves in our phones and computer screens.  We never take the time to look up from those screens and pay attention to those we love who are sitting right in front of us!  Has anyone noticed this trend?  

I admit, I have also been guilty of this since I started this blog. How about you?  Simply taking the time for ourselves to relax in a tranquil environment (and away from our screens) seems unheard of when we have tons of errands to run, homework to do, photos to edit, and blog posts to get up (not to mention laundry, exercising, cooking, shopping, cleaning, and all that fun stuff).  It's so important to take some time each week to unwind in a tranquil environment away from all of life's daily stresses.  My favorite ways to relax are: spa days, walks by the beach, stretching, blogging (of course), and listening to classical piano.  How do you like to relax?
