Happy Thursday to You! How are you? Are you ready for some pastels for spring? I know spring has sprung, but I am not quite ready to give up my boots just yet. I am going to be wearing these boots until it seems...well, odd. See, I love boots and since we don't get that much cold weather here, I hang on to the winter styles as long as possible.
This winter, I was looking for a specific type of boot. These boots were to act like a pair of pants/ leggings, but also as shoes. I was looking for a way to stay warm and still wear dresses at the same time. So, the OTK chunk heel Donald and Lisa Signature boot seemed like the obvious choice. Luckily, I purchased these on sale (I had been eyeing them for months). I looked around a lot at boots from all over the place on the web, but still came back to these for two reasons: they were both stylish and comfortable. I wear these boots to work and walk around in them all day at least three times a week.
This blazer from Armani Exhange is one of my favorites, and I have been wearing it a couple times a week. If you have ever owned a jacket from Armani Exhange, you probably know that the fit of these jackets are impeccable. Great jackets are some of the most loved pieces in my wardrobe. I always feel so much more polished with a well-fitting blazer. How about you?
This hobo handbag from Michael Kors was a gift from my boyfriend for Christmas. He let me pick it out. What a smart man:) I picked this neutral bag because I wanted to be able to wear it all year long with many outfits. This bag is soft and slouchy, yet sturdy and big enough to hold just about everything I need. It even has pockets inside for organization. Love that!
Recently, I was talking with someone and they randomly mentioned Harry Potter in conversation. I was wearing this specific outfit combo, so I figured it was definitely a subconscious slip. So, for this post I thought I'd go with it. Here it is, my Harry Potter inspired outfit. They even have a new Harry Potter ride that just opened up at Universal Studios. Neato! I love those movies. Science Fiction and Fantasy movies are definitely my favorite genre. What is yours?
Hope you're having a wonderful week:)
