Hello! Happy New Year to You! Sorry, it has been a little bit since I last posted. I took a little blogging break to rest and to just enjoy the present. This look today was inspired by a closet clean out. I was sorting through my closet to get rid of some things and this rose quartz blouse and serenity-ish colored pair of pants were hanging right next to one another and fell together by accident in the most amazing way! I saw it, and instantly knew I had to blog it. This pretty scarf by Simply Vera Wang and vintage burgundy jacket were sitting nearby as well, so it didn't take long till it became "a look". You could actually wear it two ways, with or without the jacket and scarf, but I really like the softer lighter tones paired with the deeper richer tones all layered together. This scarf was bought at Kohl's and I have been featuring a lot of Simply Vera Wang's scarves in previous posts because she makes such pretty prints and they are reasonably priced. Velvet jackets are also some of my favorite items to scavenge because they add texture and class to almost any winter outfit. However, I haven't seen many velvet jackets in stores recently. Right now, I am dreaming of finding the perfect royal blue and mustard colored velvet blazers. What do you think of wearing rose quartz and serenity together? What new items are you dreaming about this winter, but haven't found?
